Welcome to Weekend Ready Camping, run by Weekend Ready, LLC (“we”). By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
1. Using the site
Our camping tips, park information, and gear suggestions are for general information only. We work to keep them accurate, but conditions, rules, and prices change. Check with the park or seller before you rely on them, and use the information at your own risk.
2. Accounts
- Anyone can browse. You need an account to share a Hitchhiker stop, and you must be 18 or older to create one.
- Use your own email address, keep your password private, and keep one account per person.
- You're responsible for what is shared from your account.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or misuse the site.
4. Reviewing and removing stops
A person reviews every stop before it appears. We may edit stories (for example, to remove names or location details), choose which photos to show, decline a stop, or take it down later, at our discretion. Approved stops appear a few days after the rock was found, to protect contributors' privacy.
Want something you shared taken down? Email info@weekendreadycamping.com from the address on your account and we'll remove it.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the stories and photos you share. By sharing them, you give Weekend Ready, LLC permission, free of charge, to show, edit, and resize them as part of the Hitchhikers on this website, credited with your nickname (or without a name). This permission ends when your stop is taken down, except for copies we keep in our private records as described in the privacy policy.
6. Out in the real world
The Hitchhikers travel through real parks and campgrounds. When you find or pass one on, follow the rules of the place you're visiting, stay on safe ground, and leave rocks only where it's allowed and where they won't harm people, wildlife, or plants. Taking part is at your own risk.
7. Affiliate links and other websites
Some links on the site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. See our affiliate disclosure. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we're not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
8. Our content
Except for content shared by contributors and affiliate product material, the text, images, graphics, and Hitchhiker characters on this site belong to Weekend Ready, LLC. Please don't copy or use them commercially without our written permission.
9. Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, Weekend Ready, LLC is not liable for damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, including indirect or consequential damages.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page; continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms. We record which version you accepted.
